Janet Hernandez Vasquez is a fully bilingual and culturally competent Clinical Therapist passionate towards learning, understanding and practicing the most reliable evidence-based approaches (MST, CBT, TF-CBT, CBT-Mindfulness, DBT, Strength Based, Psychotherapy amongst others) focused in diverse populations and their specific needs.
Ms. Hernandez Vasquez completed her Bachelors in Social Work in Puerto Rico, where she enjoyed a rich experience as a mental and medical social work intern within one of her island's main hospitals. She graduated as a Master's Level Clinical Social Worker in St. Louis from an excellent online program within University of New English (UNE). Janet also enjoyed a highly prolific experience working within a multicultural non-profit agency as a Clinical Therapist Intern. Soon after completing her masters studies, Ms. Hernandez Vasquez took the MO LMSW exam and became a licensed mental health professional.
Janet takes special interest in building a strong therapeutic rapport, which has proven to be the cornerstone of numerous effective intervention choices. Establishing healthy and fruitful connections with clients and ensuring their overall wellness are her main mission and goal.
